Tree Dressing
As December starts much of the western world start to decorate Christmas Trees, but Tree Dressing outside to celebrate our connection with all trees is something children love to do.
A small group of Year 2 children helped make natural garlands, and wove yarn around sticks that had been whittled to create decorations for a white (Himalayan) birch in the school playground. They added ribbons of colour and spent the week explaining to their peers in the playground what they had done.
We hope next year we can dress a few more trees and involve a few more classes!
