SPRING...? π·π±πΌπΊπ

Well I had a wonderful Half Term Holiday but being back has been a whirlwind! So much so that the self titled 'Green Garden Girl Gang' have been awarded the level 3 in the RHS School Gardening Campaign and they don't even know yet! Year 2s have started The Big Grow competition (set up by Innocent Smoothies) The seedlings from Eco Club, The gardening Club, Year 5, and Year 4 are all suddenly bursting through... ...And despite the (2? 3? 4? I've lost count!) weekend storms the insects seem to be venturing out more and more! Forest School has three new classes who were happy to face the mud and rain that sporadically splattered their explorations. Peeling bark off of twigs is always an activity children from ALL Primary Phases love to do. There's a lot of debate over whether the children should use Vegetable Peelers or knives for this task. I tend to teach the youngest to use a peeler until I know they have the focus and patience to move on ...
